Rank Jump Academy
About Us
Hello, we are the founders and coaches of Rank Jump Academy. We are both passionate and competitive players who have competed together in NASEF for Overwatch and have placed 2nd in West Point B in the United States. Consistently outperforming higher ranked teams is our specialty. Our belief is that synergy and proper practices are key components to be have what it takes to become a competitive team rather than simply having high ranks. We spent 2 years coaching at a High School Esports program as Head Valorant Coach and General Manager and have created top tier teams that have consistently placed top spots in UFEA and HSEL despite the rank differences between our teams and our opponents. We hope to teach these valuable skills to both those who are just beginning esports or those that just want to elevate themselves to the next level.

My game-tag for all games is asdfdgk for very obvious reasons. In 2015, I began my competitive career competing in small discord tournaments for TF2 as scout and medic. My roles were mostly IGL and shot-caller, and I am notorious for having bad aim for my ranks. I strongly believe that having bad aim does not mean you cannot compete, it is simply your playstyle and how you optimize yourself in a team setting. When competing with Nate, I was the lowest rank as a gold player. We have competed and won against top 500s in Overwatch. I became the Valorant coach for high school in 2020 and have risen to Head Valorant coach after 1 year. I have trained many assistant coaches who also produced dominating teams.

Nathan "Froztty" Nguyen
Founder of RJA
My name is Nathan Nguyen, I go by FrozttyChicken in-game, but you can also call me Nate or Frosty. I've been playing video games since 2011, but it was until 2016 when I played competitively, specifically first-person shooters, in small tournaments. Mainly games like CS:GO and Overwatch are where I've played competitively and where most of my experience came from. Currently, I specialize in aim-oriented coaching, which involves aim exercises and techniques that help with every player's aim style. I started as an assistant coach for high school, and quickly became a general manager for the esports program.
